Declassified · U.S. Government
On February 19, 2026, President Trump directed federal agencies to find and release their files on UFOs and unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP). The Department of War, supported by the Director of National Intelligence, has been publishing them in tranches through a program called PURSUE — the Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters.

Every file in PURSUE is an unresolved case: the government says it could not determine what was observed, often because the data is too limited. That makes them unexplained — not proof of anything extraterrestrial. Cases the government has resolved are reported separately by the Pentagon's All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO).
Release 7: not yet announced. The Department of War says new files will keep coming "on a rolling basis"; so far tranches have arrived every two to six weeks. Last checked October 16, 2026.
From: Department of War, Local law enforcement
Most of this tranche is paperwork from AAWSAP, the 2008–2012 Defense Intelligence Agency program whose research areas included propulsion, exotic materials and "spatial or temporal translation".
